DESCRIPTION:COVID is airborne\, and filters can remove it from the air that we breathe. The COVID Policy and Implementation Committee and the Scientific Advisory Group are hosting an air filter building session in the old bookstore in the basement of Worner on \nWednesday\, March 16th from 1:00-3:00 and Thursday\, March 17th from 1:00-3:00 PM\n \nDrop by for as long as you have time\, no prior knowledge required! We plan to build 100 <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E2%80%93Rosenthal_Box" title="&lt\;a href=">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi–Rosenthal_Box</a>"&gt\;Corsi-Rosenthal box filters to be used in classrooms and gathering spaces. Each can clean up to 600 cubic feet of air per minute and add up to 3 air changes per hour to a room. The <a href="https://cleanaircrew.org/box-fan-filters/" title="&lt\;a href=">https://cleanaircrew.org/box-fan-filters/</a>"&gt\;box filters were co-invented by CC alumn and air filtration specialist Jim Rosenthal '70 and outperformed commercially available HEPA filters in numerous studies.
