Break beat poet Idris Goodwin joins with SMF luminaries Mark Fewer\, violin\, and John Novacek\, piano\, for an inspiring evening where spoken word and music intersect – with a few surprises!\n \nThe wide-ranging program blending classical and modern sounds includes three original compositions by Goodwin\, as well as Mozart’s Sonata in G Major\, James Scott’s Kansas City Rag\, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Conversio for violin and piano\, and Bohuslav Martinu’s Jazz Sonata for violin and piano.\n \nTickets are $30 for the general public and $5 for non-CC students. Tickets for SMF Donors cost $25 for this concert or $45 to bundle with the May 4 Intermezzo concert.
