DESCRIPTION:Calling actors and techies! Theatre Workshop is having a script reading and interest meeting of The Roommate\, a play we will be putting on in Fall 2022. \n\n\nThe Roommate by Dominica Plummer\nOne act. Steph is looking for a new roommate. She’s happy to take anyone at a time of social distancing and decreased mobility. So when the overly friendly Vida turns up on her doorstep\, Steph invites her in. Things get complicated when Steph’s boyfriend Jeff arrives unexpectedly\, despite quarantine. Soon\, he and Vida are “bonding” over probability distributions and stochastic modeling. Desperate to hold on to a new source of income\, Steph agrees to a game of Risk where winner takes all.
