DESCRIPTION:There has been a lot of curiosity lately as to the role that music plays in the contact improv setting. As such\, we will be holding a student-led  e x p e r i m e n t  as to how we might dance with music in a consious manner. Please feel free to bring any instuments (including your bodies!) and/or a friend. No music or dance "talent" necessary. Some of the themes we will be exploring are\n \n1) how might we communicate our interest/disinterest with partners through dance in a musical setting?\n \n2) how might we become more mindful of the way in which music creates different kinds of spaces?\n \n3) how might we find ways to actively participate with music (and musical instruments) as a shared partner \n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/4860
