DESCRIPTION:Community-Engaged Research: Connecting Knowledge and Action\n\nMarch 2\, 2023 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm        Hybl Community Center Classroom\n\nIn this workshop\, students will explore the following questions: (1) What is the role of knowledge in effecting social change\, and how might I bridge knowledge and action? (2) What do we consider knowledge and who do we consider a knower? (3) What strategies might I use to honor and incorporate diverse forms of knowledge in my community engagement? How might I use community-based research principles and techniques to gather and apply community-derived knowledge to social issues?
