If it rains\, we will gather inside Shove Memorial Chapel. All are welcome as we honor our friend\, student\, and community member who was a gift to all of us. You are invited to bring art\, pictures\, objects\, that remind you of William (Perkins) to add to our shared physical space. If you have a mug\, you are invited to bring one. Wearing shoes is optional. \n \nYou are invited to contribute to a collection of communal memories for William’s \n(Perkins’) family with your visual art or written notes and memories. Once compiled\, the collection will be given to his family. If you are not able to come to the gathering on Monday\, you are welcome to send reflections and pictures to\n inmemoria@coloradocollege.edu to be included with the other contributions.\n \nIn the spirit of William’s (Perkins’) generous spirit and love\, his family has shared that donations can be made to PAWS of Teton Valley Shelter. William (Perkins) was a volunteer there and also loved walking “Big Poppa” and his furry friends. The family has also shared this link to his obituary.\n \nAs we continue to grieve individually and collectively\, may we hold the tenderness of this time and each other with deep compassion and gentleness.
