DESCRIPTION:Since 2019\, Dr. Florencia Rojo (sociology) and partners from Food to Power have used community-based research methods to co-create change.  Facilitators will reflect on how the work has evolved into an ongoing\, integrative\, and collaborative research agenda.  This mutually beneficial project now provides opportunities for student learning in courses\, research and publications to advance scholarly agendas\, and opportunities to invest the tools of the academy in cultivating a healthy\, equitable food system in the greater Colorado Springs community.  \n\nPlease join us if you are interested in community-engaged research\, youth participatory action research\, food systems\, and/or insight into how to establish an ongoing community partnership that integrates teaching and research pursuits. \n\nWe will gather from 12:15-1:30 at the CCE House. Lunch is provided. Please RSVP to jradke@coloradocollege.edu. This is part of the CCE Faculty Conversations series.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/5017
