DESCRIPTION:Friday\, October 28  3:00-3:45 pm \nCornerstone Screening Room\n\nPlease join us for a screening and talk by Jordan Lord\, tenure-track candidate for a filmmaking position in Film and Media Studies. Professor Lord is a filmmaker\, writer\, and artist. Their work addresses the relationships between historical and emotional debts\, framing and support\, access and documentary. Their films have been shown at festivals and venues including MoMA Doc Fortnight\, Camden International Film Festival\, Union Docs\, and the landmark art and disability festival\, "I wanna be with you everywhere." They have presented solo exhibitions at Piper Keys and Artists Space. In 2021\, they were profiled as one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film by Filmmaker Magazine\, and their work has been featured in publications such as Artforum\, Film Quarterly\, Screen Slate\, Art in America\, and Hyperallergic.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/5434
