DESCRIPTION:Join us in a new location for a musical collaboration and performance between internationally-recognized hip-hop duo The Reminders and Colorado College songwriting students\, beginning at 3 p.m. Friday\, Nov. 11\, now in the Music Room in the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College. \n\nThe event is free and open to the public\, presented in collaboration between CC Mobile Arts\, the CC Music Department\, and the FAC.\n\nThe event features a full set by The Reminders and fresh collaborative songs created by the students of MU275 Songwriting: Creative Workshop\, performed on the CC Mobile Arts stage. Students’ songs are musical settings of texts written for this project by persons incarcerated at the Women’s Ward at El Paso County Jail.\n\nFor more information about the concert or about parking at CC for music events\, contact the Music Office at (719) 389-6545 or music@coloradocollege.edu.
