DESCRIPTION:Honoring our mid-year graduates\n\n\n\nWinter Commencement\, set for Sunday\, Dec. 18\, is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate those students who complete their undergraduate studies prior to the May Commencement ceremony. This year’s event will take place in person in Shove Memorial Chapel\, and the ceremony will include remarks from President L. Song Richardson and a Commencement address from Nadia Guessous\, Associate Professor and Associate Director Feminist and Gender Studies.\n\n\n\nPresident Richardson will also lead the presentation of graduates and the awarding of diplomas. \n\nThis event may be especially meaningful for those students who are unable to participate in May Commencement activities\, however\, participation in Winter Commencement does not exclude students from participating in the May Commencement ceremony.\n\nDetails\n\nWinter Commencement is open to families and guests of graduates\, as well as all current CC faculty\, staff\, and students. Students who have applied to graduate and their families will receive a formal invitation in early December.\n\nFamilies\, guests\, and members of the campus community may also RSVP and request special accommodation needs by contacting Brenda Soto at bsoto@coloradocollege.edu or (719) 389-6265.
