The four principles of bioethics\, introduced by Thomas Beauchamp and James Childress in 1979\, are autonomy\, beneficence\, non-maleficence\, and justice. Highlighting the potential to improve upon concepts in bioethics\, Zimmerman focuses on four areas: critical thinking\, logic and common sense\, resilience\, and authenticity.
