DESCRIPTION:\nFilm Screening and Q&amp\;A: Dos Estaciones with director Juan Pablo González\n \nWinner of a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival\, Dos Estaciones follows iron-willed businesswoman María García (Teresa Sánchez)\, the owner of Dos Estaciones\, a once-majestic tequila factory now struggling to stay afloat. When a persistent plague and an unexpected flood cause irreversible damage\, María García is forced to do everything she can to save her community’s primary economy and source of pride.\n \n \nJuan Pablo González is a Mexican film director\, screenwriter and editor. He is the co-director of film at the California Institute of the Arts\, has been named one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine\, and in 2020 won the Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Filmmaking.
