DESCRIPTION:The Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents a Faculty Artists Concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday\, June 15 in Packard Hall. These concerts feature our professional musician Festival faculty performing a wide array of chamber music.\n\nThe June 15 concert opens with Elizabeth Mann and Alice Dade\, flutes\, and Susan Grace\, piano\, performing Doppler’s Andante et Rondo\, followed by Dvorák’s Serenade in D minor\, performed by Robert Walters\, oboe\; Jon Manasse\, clarinet\; Michael Kroth\, bassoon\; Michael Thornton\, horn\; Mark Kosower\, cello\; Susan Cahill\, bass\; along with Festival fellows to be selected. The concert concludes with Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time\, performed by Manasse\, Kosower\, Ayano Ninomiya\, violin\, and William Wolfram\, piano.\n\nSingle tickets for Festival Artists Concerts are $35 for the general public\, $30 for Festival donors\, and $5 for children and students. Season tickets to all five Festival Artists Concerts presented in June are $160 for the general public and $140 for donors. Season tickets to all seven Festival concerts (five Festival Artists and two Festival Orchestra) are the best value for music lovers at $200 for the general public\, $175 for donors\, and $150 for first-time ticket subscribers.
