DESCRIPTION:Come together to honor the achievements of our students and recognize faculty and staff mentors\n\nPresident L. Song Richardson\, Dean Emily Chan\, and the Academic Events Committee invite the Colorado College community to Honors Convocation.\n\nHonors Convocation is free to attend\, and no RSVP or registration is required. All are welcome! If you are unable to join us in-person\, there will be a livestream available on our website. No pre-registration is required in order to access the livestream.\n\nThis annual event marks the traditional beginning of Commencement season festivities. Outstanding students\, faculty\, and staff will be presented with departmental awards\, all-college awards\, faculty teaching and professorships\, and awards from the CC Student Government Association.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, the recipients of the first Just World Awards will be announced at Honors Convocation. These new Colorado College president’s awards recognize alumni\, students\, staff\, faculty\, and retirees who demonstrate their dedication to principles that create a more just and equitable world. \n\nThe Just World Awards include the Mike Edmonds Igniting Students’ Potential Award\, the Dr. Margaret A. Liu ’77 Health Justice Award\, the Ken Salazar ’77 Stewardship Award\, the Adrienne Lanier Seward Bold and Courageous Actions Award\, and the Val Veirs Environmental Justice Award. Learn more about these awards and the individuals for whom they are named. Thank you to all who submitted nominations!\n\nWe look forward to celebrating the inspiring individuals being honored for their academic\, co-curricular\, athletic\, and other accomplishments.
