DESCRIPTION:Opera Theatre of the Rockies' Vocal Arts Festival artists and faculty will present the final concert on Sunday\, July 16 at 3:00 p.m. in Packard Hall.\n\n\n\nGeorge Gershwin wrote songs with sharp\, jazzy rhythms. It took an equally talented lyricist (his brother) to set the melodies George and others wrote. Ira Gershwin's settings earned him the nickname\, The Jeweler.\n\n\n\nHear the gems shine in this review featuring music of George Gershwin\, Harold Arlen\, Jerome Kern and more...\n\nTickets are $20 and may be ordered online at the link below or purchased at the door. Student tickets are $10 each. Tickets are free at the door for current Colorado College students\, faculty\, and staff with their Gold Cards.
