DESCRIPTION:This workshop will explore the following questions: \n \n\n(1) What are best practices of community work\, and what do they look like in practice? What principles might I use to guide my work?\n(2) What are common dynamics of higher ed/community interactions that get in the way of reciprocal partnerships?\n(3) What are common areas where CC students may fall short of those best practices\, and how might I avoid these pitfalls?\n\nThis series is student-facing\, and also open to the full campus community.  Along with students\, all staff and faculty are invited to come learn about changemaking\, gain insight into the work of the CCE\, and connect with the community partners who co-facilitate these spaces.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/6733
