DESCRIPTION:This workshop will explore the following questions: \n \n\n(1) What is place-based learning\, and why does it matter to my ability to affect social change? Why should I get locally-informed?\n(2) How might I learn about Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region? How might I learn about how systemic issues manifest locally?\n(3) What strategies\, community resources\, and news outlets can support my local learning journey?\n\nThis series is student-facing\, and also open to the full campus community.  Along with students\, all staff and faculty are invited to come learn about changemaking\, gain insight into the work of the CCE\, and connect with the community partners who co-facilitate these spaces. \n\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/6736
