DESCRIPTION:\nThis workshop will explore the following questions: \n \n\n(1) What is an asset-based perspective\, as distinct from a deficit-based perspective? Why does this perspective matter for democratic social change?\n(2) How might I use power or asset-mapping as tools for social change?\n(3) What is a capacity-building project\, and how does it build on asset-based approaches?\n\nThis series is student-facing\, and also open to the full campus community.  Along with students\, all staff and faculty are invited to come learn about changemaking\, gain insight into the work of the CCE\, and connect with the community partners who co-facilitate these spaces.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/6739
