DESCRIPTION:This workshop will explore the following questions: \n \n\n(1) What is power?\n(2) Why is it important to engage in collective\, rather than individual\, action?\n(3) What is my self(soul)-interest\, and how does it connect with others' interests? Why is the concept of self-interest important in collective action and movement-building?\n(4) What strategies might I use to build power by organizing and mobilizing others to action?\n\nThis series is student-facing\, and also open to the full campus community.  Along with students\, all staff and faculty are invited to come learn about changemaking\, gain insight into the work of the CCE\, and connect with the community partners who co-facilitate these spaces.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/6745
