DESCRIPTION:In this skills-based and reflective workshop led by CCE Director Jordan Travis Radke\, participants will explore how a restorative justice framework can guide next steps when one creates or experiences harm. We'll conceptualize different ways to respond to harm and reflect on our own tendencies toward punishment\, withdrawal\, or repair. We'll then examine how a focus on "making it right\," rather than punishing or permitting\, can repair relationships and build a stronger community.\n\n\n\nParticipants will then learn conversational strategies that can be used to hold oneself and others compassionately accountable\, and practice those skills through mock scenarios. In so doing\, we'll develop our abilities to correct course\, as well as support others in their commitment to learn and grow\, and co-build a stronger CC community in the process.\n\n\n\nPresented by:\n\nJordan Travis Radke\, Collaborative for Community Engagement Director This event is not open to the general public. https://www.coloradocollege.edu/newsevents/calendar/details.html?EventID=54956&amp\;booking=1SEQUENCE:0\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/6815
