DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Summer Music Festival celebrates 40 years at Colorado College with its Fall Intermezzo Concert on Tuesday\, October 24 at 7 PM in Packard Hall. The Escher String Quartet from New York will be performing works by Mendelssohn\, Janácek\, and Schubert.\n\nThe Escher String Quartet has received acclaim for their profound musical insight and rare tonal beauty. A former BBC New Generation Artist and recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant\, they’ve performed at London’s Cadogan Hall for the BBC Proms\, are regular guests at London’s Wigmore Hall\, and in their hometown of New York City\, are season artists of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.\n\nTickets to hear the Escher String Quartet at Colorado College are available <a href="https://fac-cc.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket/#/events/a0S4w00000V8hH7EAJ">online</a> through the FAC Box Office\, or though the CC Summer Music Festival <a href="https://www.coloradocollege.edu/other/summermusicfestival/">website </a> or by calling 719-389-6552.
