DESCRIPTION:A memorial gathering for George Eckhardt\, campus planner in Campus Operations and Facilities Services\, will take place this Friday\, December 15 at 1 p.m. in Shove Memorial Chapel\, followed by a simple reception.\n\nFor 40 years\, George devoted himself in service to Colorado College. A man of integrity\, his care for our community extended for generations by helping to ensure that every square inch of our campus\, from walk-ways to newer buildings (like Robson Arena) to historic preservation projects\, had solid infrastructure. Attentive to form\, function\, and beauty\, George’s high level of detail and thoroughness in his work shaped our everyday experience of CC. It also created long lasting partnerships on and off-campus with those who trusted and valued him. Being in good relationship with friends and colleagues was important to George.
