DESCRIPTION:\nHow Is It That You Frame Old Glory in Your Mouth?\nScreening and discussion with director Jordan Lord\, producer Abby Sun\, and scholar Pooja Rangan\nScreening 3:30-5 pm\, Panel discussion 5 pm\n\nHow Is It That You Frame Old Glory in Your Mouth? is is part of a larger project\, The Voice of Democracy\, on exhibition at the Squeaky Wheel Film and Media Art Center in Buffalo\, NY. The Voice of Democracy considers the politics of voice and accent across disability\, race\, class\, and gender\, and how they shape the terms of entry to democracy.\n \nJordan Lord is a filmmaker\, writer\, and artist whose work addresses the relationships between historical and emotional debts\, framing and support\, access\, and documentary. They are Assistant Professor of Film and Media Studies at Colorado College. Abby Sun is IDA’s Director of Artist Programs and Editor of Documentary magazine. Pooja Rangan is Associate Professor of English at Amherst College.
