DESCRIPTION:This workshop is co-presented in partnership with the Gallery of Contemporary Art (GOCA) at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. See Yana’s work: Pleasure &amp\; Protest January 25 – March 16\, 2024 — GOCA Digital and lecture: Yana Payusova VACS Lecture.\nThis three-hour workshop will investigate the relationship between two-dimensional and three-dimensional surfaces\, while focusing on the expressive narrative potential of physical objects. During the workshop the participants will create compositional drawings\, then hand-build a small ceramic object\, which they will paint and glaze.
