DESCRIPTION:Timothy Linnemann\, a Biology major at Colorado College and active member of the EnAct student group\, tragically passed away in a car accident during a camping trip in southern Nevada in 1990. In his memory\, his friends established a memorial garden on campus\, and his family established the Timothy C. Linnemann Memorial Lecture on the Environment\, held annually during Earth Week\, accompanied by a dinner bringing together students and faculty involved in environmental activities at the college.\n\nJoin us for this year's lecture by former Sierra Club President Ramón Cruz on The Movement for Climate Justice: Recent Successes\, Threats and Urgency.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/7910
