DESCRIPTION:\nEarlier this month\, several of us traveled to Hawaii to attend NCORE (the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity). During my time there\, my family introduced me to the expression “talk story\,” an expression that implies slowing down from the hustle to spend time with friends in conversations while sharing your authentic self. You might call it “shooting the breeze.” \n\nIn the spirit of aloha\, please consider dropping by the Ombuds Office this summer to talk story every Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:00pm.  No RSVPs needed. The office is located at 210 E Dale Street. Iced coffee/tea and light snacks provided. Use this as a time and space to explore ideas\, stories\, opinions and history with the CC community.
