DESCRIPTION:This student workshop will explore the following questions:\n \n(1) What do open-ended in-depth interview methods teach us about the art of listening? \n(2) In my conversations\, what skills and strategies might I use to invite another's perspective in a more open-ended way? On a day-to-day basis\, how might I incorporate more deep listening?\n(3) What is the benefit of focusing on nonjudgemental curiosity in an effort to understand another person\, rather than focusing on sharing my connections to the topic?\n(4) Why are effective listening skills critical to community work?  How might deep listening build relationships?\n \nThis series is student-facing\, and also open to the full campus community.  Along with students\, all staff and faculty are invited to come learn about changemaking\, gain insight into the work of the CCE\, and connect with the community partners who co-facilitate these spaces. \n<a href="https://apps.ideal-logic.com/cce?key=29L66-D685_K9KH-5PTF_acfda829389e">Register here</a>.  RSVPs encouraged though not required.  \n \nFaculty and staff\, please encourage students to join us!\n\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/7981
