DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe <a href="https://studyabroad.sit.edu/">School for International Training (SIT)</a> is a leader in immersive\, experiential\, field-based study abroad programs for undergraduates\, offering programs in Africa\, Asia and the Pacific\, Europe\, Latin America\, and the Middle East\, as well as comparative IHP programs that travel to multiple locations. \n\nJordan Byrne Mroz from SIT will be visiting CC for the Semesters Away Fair from 12-2pm in Worner on 9/4\, and setting up a drop-in advising time afterwards in Benji's\, the coffee shop in Worner. If you are interested in learning more in-depth about applying for SIT's programs\, or their graduate school degrees\, stop by and talk to Jordan! ☕\n\nSIT study abroad semesters are offered in 33 countries\, and all explore deeply a facet of a Critical Global Issue over the course of the semester: \n--Climate &amp\; Environment\n--Development &amp\; Inequality\n--Education &amp\; Social Change\n--Geopolitics &amp\; Power\n--Global Health &amp\; Well-being\n--Identity &amp\; Human Resilience\n--Peace &amp\; Justice \n\n<a href="https://www.coloradocollege.edu/offices/globalandfieldstudy/global-education/semesters-off-campus/application-process.html">Apply in Summit</a> by October 15 for Spring 2025 abroad\, and by next March 15 for Fall 2025. <a href="https://www.coloradocollege.edu/offices/globalandfieldstudy/global-education/semesters-off-campus/financial-aid-and-billing.html">Financial Aid</a> transfers to this CC partner program\, and you may apply in Summit for <a href="https://www.coloradocollege.edu/offices/globalandfieldstudy/global-education/semesters-off-campus/credit-transfer/">credits to transfer</a> towards your CC degree requirements.
