The Fiber Fellowship is a collaboration between the Arts &\; Crafts Program and the Art Department and brings an artist to campus each semester to teach\, create new work\, and share their art with the CC Community. Please join us to welcome Naomi and learn more about her artistic practice.\n\nNaomi is joining us from the University of South Carolina where she is an Associate Professor of Studio Art in Sculpture. Her work considers grief\, loss\, and communal and environmental survival. Falk’s work questions how foraged materials might be gathered and reframed to build objects and experiences that comfort\, support\, challenge\, and sustain us. Falk has exhibited at well-respected regional and national venues and done residencies in Iceland\, Vermont\, the Faroe Islands\, and most recently\, at Hambidge Center and The Residency Project.
