Kevin Olson is an active pianist\, composer\, and professor of piano at Utah State University\, where he has taught courses in piano literature\, pedagogy\, accompanying\, music theory\, improvisation\, commercial composition\, and rock &\; roll history\, among others.\n\nThe program features Three Jazz Sketches for piano four-hands\, Medieval Village for voice and piano\, Urban Legends for piano trio\, Beatles Prelude: Eleanor Rigby for cello and piano\, Thoughts on a Theme by Beethoven for two pianos\, and additional selections to be announced from the stage. Joining the composer in this performance are CC faculty Susan Grace\, piano\; Jeri Jorgensen\, violin\; Andrew Kolb\, cello\; and Jonathan Hays\, baritone.
