DESCRIPTION:Join us as artist Cal Duran blesses the space for the Fine Arts Center community ofrenda for this year’s <a href="https://fac.coloradocollege.edu/events/dia-de-muertos/">Día de Muertos</a> celebration.\n\nOne of the most representative images of Día de Muertos celebrations are the Day of the Dead altars\, or ofrendas\, that present offerings to the souls of the departed. It’s important before and after any ofrenda altar is created for a blessing of the land\, elementals  animals\, and ancestors are acknowledged. The blessing ensures that the altar is a safe container to hold the offerings for our loved ones who have passed on before us.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/8238
