DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://www.coloradocollege.edu/newsevents/calendar/details.html?EventID=61603&amp\;booking=1"></a>\nThis special folk-infused program opens with Clara Schumann's elegant and soulful Piano Trio in G Minor\, considered her greatest work\, followed by Robert Schumann’s Five Pieces in Folk Style\, which reflects the composer’s interest in traditional folk music of Germany and Bohemia. Ofer Ben-Amots' Bulgariana features folk song\, as well gestures reminiscent of bagpipe and gadulka (a traditional bowed instrument) from Bulgaria. The program is rounded out by Ketty Nez's trio in memory\, virtuosic instrumental gestures fragment Slovenian and Romanian folk sources.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/8759
