DESCRIPTION:\nThe Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents the first Festival Orchestra Concert of its 41st season at 7 p.m. Tuesday\, June 17\, in Celeste Theatre\, Cornerstone Arts Center.\n\nTickets are FREE for CC students\, faculty\, and staff with CCID. <a href="https://www.coloradocollege.edu/other/summermusicfestival/concerts/2025-season.html">Get tickets online in advance</a> or\, if available\, at the door.\n\nThe program\, conducted by Scott Yoo\, opens with Strauss’ Overture from Die Fledermaus\, followed by Haydn’s Sinfonia concertante in B-flat Major\, Op 84\, Hob.I:105\, featuring Laura Frautschi\, violin\; Elizabeth Koch Tiscione\, oboe\; Michael Kroth\, bassoon\; and David Ying\, cello. The concert concludes with Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C minor\, Op. 68.\n\nDon't miss a free pre-concert lecture with CC Prof. Emeritus Michael Grace at 5:45 p.m. in the CAC Screening Room. Additionally\, all are invited to the Concert After-Party in the CAC Main Space.\n\nThe CC Summer Music Festival runs June 7-27 with dozens of free and ticketed events for all ages.
