DESCRIPTION:\nThe Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents a Music and Art Talk at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday\, June 25\, in Agents of Care Hall at the Fine Arts Center.\n\nThe event is free but <a href="https://fac-cc.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket/#/instances/a0FUY000006V0WX2A0">a quick RSVP is required</a>. The combined performance and lecture celebrates artist Mary Chenoweth and the opening of <a href="https://fac.coloradocollege.edu/event/music-and-art-talk/">The Many Travels of Mary Chenoweth</a> exhibition at the Fine Arts Center. Chenoweth served on the faculty at Colorado College for three decades. She worked in a variety of mediums — including sculpture\, painting\, drawing and printmaking — and carved the doors leading into the Bemis School of Art.\n\nThe Music and Art Talk will feature CC Summer Music Festival performers and presenter Alana Adams\, Assistant Curator of Collections for the Fine Arts Center.\n\nThe CC Summer Music Festival runs June 7-27 with dozens of free and ticketed events for all ages.
