See you there!  \n\nTalk Description: Sagla Dummad Adriano Peréz is an Indigenous climate activist and leader of Guna Yala\, one of two autonomous Indigenous territories (Comarcas) of the Guna people in Panama. Guna Yala comprises over 365 low-lying Caribbean islands\, 60 of which contain communities. As sea levels continue to rise\, the Guna people are among the first to experience the direct impacts of climate change. In this talk\, Sagla Dummad Adriano Perez will explore how climate change is affecting Indigenous lifeways and how Guna communities are responding with resilience and collective action in the face of an existential environmental threat.\n\nhttps://today.coloradocollege.edu/events/9264
