DESCRIPTION:Carlos Alberto Sánchez is professor of\n\nphilosophy at San José State University. He\n\nwrites primarily on Mexican philosophy and\n\nhas published a number of books on the\n\nsubject. His two most recent publications are\n\nBlooming in the Ruins: How Mexican\n\nPhilosophy Can Guide You Toward the Good\n\nLife (Oxford University Press 2024) and\n\nMexican Philosophy for the 21 Century\n\n(Bloomsbury 2023). He is the co-founder of\n\nthe Journal of Mexican Philosophy and\n\nAssociate Editor of Journal of World\n\nPhilosophies. Born in California\, Dr. Sánchez\n\nwas raised in Michoacan\, Mexico\, and King\n\nCity\, California.
