DESCRIPTION:\nThe Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents the season's first Festival Orchestra concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday\, June 16\, in Celeste Theatre\, Cornerstone Arts Center. Tickets are FREE for CC students\, faculty\, and staff with CCID. <a href="https://fac-cc.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket/#/instances/a0FUY000008tTw12AE">Get tickets online in advance</a> (select CCID $0 on the same page as you choose your seats) or\, if available\, at the door.\n\nThe evening's program\, conducted by Scott Yoo\, opens with Copland's Appalachian Spring\, in celebration of the U.S. Semiquincentennial. Soloist Jon Manasse will then take the stage for Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A Major. Following intermission\, the concert concludes with Sibelius' Symphony No. 2 in D Major.\n\nDon't miss a free Pre-concert Lecture with CC Prof. Emeritus Michael Grace at 5:45 p.m. in the Cornerstone Screening Room.
